Descriptio Wrought iron. Measures: 21 cm high. Equestrian figure made of wrought iron, with rider and mount rendered through a marked formal simplification and linear treatment characteristic of traditional forging. The composition exhibits a strong verticality, with schematic volumes and a powerful synthesis of forms, linked to the Dogon metallurgical tradition. The surface retains a dark patina, oxidation, and irregular wear typical of worked iron and consistent with its age. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
