Horizons No. 40 - Aldo Cherres

Horizons No. 40 by Aldo Cherres Painting 24.0 x 22.0 :: Horizons is a series which explores imagined fantastical scenes. In this body of work I challenge reality using art as a means of escape from everyday life. Horizons is one of my longest-running series to date and it continues to evolve with each new piece. I carefully hand stretch my own unprimed canvases to ensure they will not buckle or wrinkle in the frame. I also choose a higher grade canvas than the pre-stretched store bought ones. I then prime or gesso and lightly sand them; this is a process I repeat three times. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Contemporary Subject: Abstract Width: 24.0 Height: 22.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 2 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
