'Duress' note, so-called because the serial number seen on this example was issued during World War II when employees of HSBC were forced to issue notes by the Japanese, and the notes were thus issued under duress. Historically significant and quite scarce, this example faces up well, with much of its original, rich green colours intact. PMG Comments "Annotation, Minor Rust." Estimate: $900 - $1,200. 1934年香港上海匯豐銀行伍拾圓。迫簽票。 "迫簽票"指二戰期間，匯豐員工被日軍強迫簽名發行的紙幣，本品從編號可知屬該時期。具重大歷史意義且相當稀少，外觀悅目自然，原裝綠色油墨保存完好，深潤動人。PMG備註"筆註，輕微鏽漬"。
