Honda - XLV 750R - NO RESERVE - 750 cc - 1988

Offered without a minimum price: Special motorcycle, only about three years produced up to around 10,000 units. Only delivered in many parts of Europe, Asia and Australia. This is the predecessor of the Africa Twin and Transalp. One of the early heavy dual-sport machines alongside, among others, the BMW R80G/S. Technically a very good motorcycle. Three years ago a lot of work was done to bring it into this condition. New at the time of installation: - Tires - Battery - Wilbers rear shock absorber - Bearings in rear swingarm - Filters - Spark plugs - Fork seals - Fluids - Tank cleaned - Carburators ultrasonically cleaned Virtually everything in original paint. Still with the original exhausts. Many stickers still present. The engine runs and shifts perfectly. Drives nicely and could even be used as a daily rider. I personally have ridden it about 3000 kilometers in recent years. Visually still some work to do. The tank is dented and has some scratches. Front fender, flyscreen also scratched. Very small hole in the seat. Originally new in the Netherlands delivered Honda Vehicle registration date in the Netherlands: 11 November 1987 First date of entry: 20 April 1988 Transport within the Netherlands for 150,- possible. The motorcycle has an original Dutch license plate Export documents possible. Pickup or transport outside the Netherlands to be arranged by the purchaser. For an additional price, a neat tank is available. This is in a different color scheme and would need to be repainted.
