ARRATIVE AND CONCEPT OF THE WORK Brigitte Bardot, an unquestionable icon of cinema and 20th-century popular culture, stars in the first piece of HÖK's new Chromatic Drip Series. Created in 2026 as a tribute to Bardot after her passing in December 2025, the work celebrates her life through a true explosion of color. Reds, yellows, blues and fluorescent tones build her face with a free, rapid, energetic pictorial gesture. In this new Chromatic Drip Series, HÖK explores a more gestural and spontaneous painting, where color is applied from the air through strokes, splashes, and drips that overlap to build the image. A combination of action, movement, and contemporary pop colors that turn the portrait into pure visual energy.
