Hiroko Yamamoto - (1948) – Joli bateau – Épreuve d'Artiste (E.A.) – 1978

Hiroko Yamamoto Hiroko Yamamoto (1948) – "Joli bateau" – Artist's Proof (E.A.) – 1978 Description of the work Superb original print by the Japanese artist Hiroko Yamamoto (born 1948), entitled "Joli bateau" and created in 1978. This work is an Artist's Proof (E.A.), a confidential off-market print reserved for the artist, which makes it particularly rare and sought after by collectors. The work sits in the period when the artist explored aquatic themes (swimming pools, reflections, monochrome gradients) like other masters of the time, blending geometric rigour (the tile work in perspective) with fluid and sinuous organic shapes. • Artist: Hiroko Yamamoto (山本 弘子) • Title: Joli bateau • Year: 1978 • Technique: Print art (engraving / lithography) • Edition: Artist's Proof (noted "e.a." in pencil at lower left) • Signature: Signed and dated by hand in pencil by the artist at lower right ("H. Yamamoto 78") • Condition: Very good overall. The blues and contrasts remain very dense and deep. Presented under a mat. A magnificent piece of late 70s Japanese graphic art, ready to be framed. Shipping with frame in Europe to Paris or shipping in a sturdy tube—please specify. Thank you
