Wristwatch with flyback chronograph function, Ref. 1550 SG, circa 1974 watch case: Stainless steel, monobloc with screw-down outer case, number 9462, rotating bezel, diameter approx. 43 mm movement: Hand-wound, lever escapement, Valjoux 230 caliber, stopwatch function via column wheel, 17 jewels dial: Black, Arabic numerals, two sub-dials for small seconds and 30-minute counter This watch is a civilian version (no NSN supply number on the case back) of reference 1550 SG, known primarily as a Bundeswehr pilot’s watch. Outer case has been refurbished and shows pressure marks; zero reset is inaccurate; movement shows signs of corrosion.
