Early and rare Herend Hungary porcelain "Blue Garland" fruit bowl, c. 1910-1920. Herend porcelain is made in the town of Herend in Veszprém Province, Hungary, located in the Balaton Mountains. Since its founding in 1826, the factory has grown into a world-renowned luxury brand, known for its handmade and hand-painted high-quality porcelain, often associated with European aristocracy. Marked "Herend" and the well-known Herend logo on the underside. The fruit bowl is in excellent condition (only on the lower rim a dull touched-up spot), see photos.
