Hereke - Carpet - 252 cm - 176 cm - Hereke Oriental rug

Large, flower-shaped medallions in staggered rows characterize this hand-knotted Hereke Oriental rug. On the dark blue ground, ornaments in cream, rose, red and blue alternate. Small flowers, leaves and curved vines fill the gaps and connect the individual motifs into a detailed overall pattern. A wide cream-colored border with floral vines surrounds the inner field. Narrow patterned bands in warm rust tones complement the light framing. The recurring floral medallions distribute the color accents evenly across the surface and give the rug a lively, orderly appearance. With its dimensions of 252 × 176 cm, this rectangular Oriental rug is especially suitable for a seating group in the living room or a reading area with armchairs and a side table. Light upholstered furniture picks up the cream-colored pattern elements. Warm wood tones are harmonized by the red and rose-colored ornaments, while blue accessories reflect the dark base tone. This way, the Hereke can be integrated into both classical and simply furnished living spaces.
