About the artist: Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since her earliest childhood. Fate put her on the path of her passion when she crossed paths with major figures of her generation. First an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these recognized artists and participated in the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe. Gradually, encouraged by those she admired, she dared to take the plunge: to give birth to her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signed her first works in her own name, rich from all the experiences accumulated in the shadows. Her art? A vibrant mix of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from 90s graffiti, the streets that tell stories, and the icons who have marked visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations burst with color, textures, and emotions. She paints instinctively, almost viscerally, letting her characters emerge as the thread of her daily inspiration guides them. About the artwork: Each painting is made on a 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, oil pastels, spray paint—each texture bringing the raw emotion to life.
