About the artist: Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since early childhood. Fate steered her toward her passion when she crossed paths with major figures of her generation. First as an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these renowned artists and contributed to the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe. Gradually, encouraged by those she admired, she dared to take the step: to birth her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signs her first works in her own name, rich with all the experiences accumulated in the shadows. Her art? A vibrant mix of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from 90s graffiti, the streets that tell stories, and the icons that have marked visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations explode with color, texture and emotion. She paints instinctively, almost viscically, letting her characters emerge according to the thread of her daily inspiration. About the work: Each painting is made on a 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, hard chalk, spray paint, all textures that bring raw emotion to life.
