About the artist: Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since her earliest childhood. Fate put her on the path of her passion when she crossed paths with major figures of her generation. First as an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these renowned artists and contributed to the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe. Little by little, encouraged by those she admired, she dares to take the step: to give birth to her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signs her first works in her own name, rich from all the experiences accumulated in the shadows. Her art? A vibrant blend of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from the graffiti of the 90s, the streets that tell stories, and the icons who have shaped visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations burst with color, textures, and emotions. She paints instinctively, almost viscerally, letting her characters emerge as the thread of her daily inspiration guides them. About the artwork: Each painting is created on a 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, oil pastels, spray paint, all of which bring life to raw emotion.
