Hanging lamp - Vienna - Brass, Crystal - Tear Spider

It is a ceiling lamp that embodies that Viennese teardrop chandelier style, so characteristic of the first half of the 20th century, where elegance is built from the purity of the lines and the disciplined gleam of metal and crystal. Here, the upper structure —usually made of brass or bronze— acts as an architectural ring from which the rods descend, creating a vertical curtain of light and reflections. Each rod, perfectly aligned, functions as a small prism that captures the illumination and returns it in fine, almost musical flashes, as if the lamp breathes with every vibration of light. This type of design, heir to the Viennese tradition that sought to unite functionality and beauty without falling into excessive ornamentation, is recognized by its balance: it is not Baroque, not Rococo, not theatrical like the Venetian; it is more sober, more geometric, closer to that Central European sensibility that valued precision and quiet craftsmanship. However, the presence of the rods and the shine of the metal give it an aura of sophistication that makes it a powerful decorative piece, capable of transforming a space without imposing itself. The lamp you present, with its cascade of crystals and its worked metal structure, fits perfectly within that tradition: an object that combines formal clarity, quality craftsmanship, and a touch of discreet luxury. In a contemporary interior it adds verticality and texture; in a classic one, it reinforces a sense of refinement and historical continuity. Certified shipping and good packaging.
