Handwoven designer Kilim – collector's piece. - Kelim - 92 cm - 90 cm

This handwoven designer kilim from Turkey impresses with its extraordinary, graphic animal motif and its modern, yet primal aura. The stylized motif is deliberately reduced and reminiscent of traditional symbolic representations, as used in Anatolian kilims for generations. The calm green base tone forms a harmonious background and lets the motif in red and blue tones appear particularly striking. The slightly heathered surface gives the kilim depth and underlines the artisanal character. Through the clear formal language this kilim appears modern and playfully understated at the same time. Thanks to its compact format the kilim is ideal as a decorative highlight – whether as a wall kilim, an accent piece in the living area, in the children's room, or as a special single piece in creative living concepts. A characterful designer kilim for lovers of handwoven unique pieces with artistic ambition.
