Hagstrom / Hagström - HJ800 Vintage Sunburst - - Semi-hollow body guitar

The Hagstrom HJ800 Vintage Sunburst is a premium hollow-body jazz guitar. The model is based on the original designs by guitar builder Jimmy D'Aquisto from the 1970s. The guitar is known for its warm, expressive jazz and blues tones, combined with modern stability. Main Specifications Top: Solid spruce wood, pressure-shaped. Body: 5-layer Canadian maple. Neck: North American hard maple, glued. Fingerboard: Resinator wood composite for even tones and sustain. Neck reinforcement: H-Expander for an extremely stable neck construction. Hardware: 2x Custom 58 humbuckers for a vintage tonal character. Scale: 25 inches (635 mm) with 21 frets. Bridge: Ebony Jimmy bridge with a trapeze tailpiece. Features & Applications The guitar delivers acoustic resonance through its solid spruce top, ideal for traditional jazz, fusion, and sultry blues. Thanks to the Resinator fingerboard, the instrument responds quickly and eliminates dead spots that can occur with traditional wooden fretboards. The Vintage Sunburst finish additionally gives the guitar a classic, timeless look. The masterpiece by Jimmy D’Aquisto with a top made of selected solid spruce and neck/body transition at the 16th fret (scale: 25”/635mm). The flagship of the Hagstrom Jimmy series. On this guitar you can clearly see who designed it. The HJ800 is equipped with powerful Custom 58 humbuckers and a spruce top for the perfect combination of power and crisp attack. This is certainly no “compromise”: jazz simply sounds wonderful and rock powers through. • Body: Canadian figured maple (sides and back), carved • Top: solid, selected spruce, carved • Neck: Canadian maple, glued • Nut: Graphtech Black Tusq XL, width: 43mm • Fingerboard: Resinator with large block inlays (pearl) • Frets: 21 medium jumbo frets • Tuners: Hagström-designed, 18:1 ratio • Scale: 25”/635mm • Pickup: 2x Custom 58 AlNiCo-5 humbuckers • Controls: Volume/Tone controls (each for neck/bridge pickup), 3-way toggle (neck/neck+bridge/bridge) • Bridge: Jimmy Ebony with trapezoid string holder • Color: 3-Tone Sunburst
