H. T. M. - Model train (1) - The Outlying Lines of the HTM — Hardcover — New.

The HTM's Outlying Lines - Hardcover - New condition - 2150 grams - Published in 2014 400 pages with a lot of text and about 500 photos. The book fully covers the history of the HTM's outlying lines from 1866 onward. The most extensive description covers the period 1923-1965, the time when the characteristic outlying-line rolling stock ran at 1200 volts on the HTM's outlying lines. In this regard, both the history of this rolling stock and the history of the lines from The Hague via Rijswijk to Voorburg and Delft and via Wassenaar to Leiden, the 'Gele tram' (Yellow tram), receive full attention. This is central to the book, chapters 3 through 7, with texts that extensively address all kinds of matters, such as the modifications to the rolling stock and the changes to and the operation of the lines in the broadest sense, all supported by some 500 images, such as photographs, drawings, tables, place proofs and other items. Chapters 1 and 2 are intended as a short orientation to the larger history of trams in and around The Hague. Chapters 8 through 10 contain information about the period after 1965 up to early 2014. At the back of the book, exactly 400 pages and many black-and-white photos of the rolling stock in motion show the place proofs and, as extra color photos from the last years that the outlying-line rolling stock ran. Photos are part of the description. Shipping with PostNL, Track & Trace
