Partially original edition, bringing together *Fleurs de neige*, *Joies grises*—with a preface by Georges Rodenbach—*Le Sang des crépuscules*—with the famous preface by Stéphane Mallarmé—and *Les Derniers vers*. The BnF catalogs this collection among the selected works of Charles Guérin published by Mercure de France in 1923. The volume was completed on October 15, 1923, by Marc Texier in Poitiers. Charles Guérin (1873–1907), a poet from Lorraine who died prematurely at the age of thirty-three, belonged to the waning Symbolist generation; his early collections include, notably, *Fleurs de neige* (1893), *Joies grises* (1894), and *Le Sang des crépuscules* (1895). Paperback copy in its original cover, slightly faded and browned, with minor wear and marginal tears, particularly on the front cover; spine in fair condition. Interior fresh overall, untrimmed.
