Große antike Häkeltischdecke – Reine Baumwolle – Echte...

A magnificent and extraordinarily large hand-crocheted tablecloth in absolutely excellent condition comes up for auction. This museum-worthy piece captivates with its enormous dimensions of 175 x 175 cm and a highly complex, filigree pattern. From the center, a concentric masterpiece of geometric lace bands, floral star motifs, and open net structures unfolds, finishing with an intricately crafted scalloped border around the edge. The tablecloth was woven from the finest, sturdy cotton yarn in weeks- to months-long, masterful workmanship. It is perfectly circular (in the auction photos, it is shown on a large dining table). For its age, the tablecloth is in exceptional, collectible mint condition. There are no cracks, pulled threads, holes, or stains. The fabric is tight, clean, and ready for a festive table or as an exquisite collector’s item. Please examine the high-resolution photos carefully, as they are an integral part of the condition description. The piece will be professionally packaged and shipped insured with tracking.
