Gretchen Wohlwill (1878–1962) – Collection of 2 ink pen drawings ​Work 1: “Windmühlen” – Study for her well-known oil painting of the same name (ca. 15.9 x 21.6 cm) ​Work 2: Animal study / Bull ​Technique & condition: Ink pen drawings on paper/machine-made wove paper. On the verso each bear a legacy stamp. Slightly creased and stained due to age (Work 1 with left binder holes). Both works are framed separately. ​Description: Two expressive sketches by the important Hamburg Secession artist and Matisse pupil Gretchen Wohlwill.
