Alphonse CYTHÈRE, born in TAUVES (PUY-DE-DOME) on 12 August 1861 and died in RAMBERVILLERS (VOSGES) in 1941, was a French ceramic engineer linked to the School of NANCY. He developed a new technique for transforming a glaze with metallic reflections which earned them fame—the “Flamed Rambervillers Stoneware.” Net weight, in grams: 826.
