Great White Shark Taxidermy full body mount - Carcharodon...

The great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is a cartilaginous fish of the Lamnidae family. As the unique living representative of the genus Carcharodon, this shark is the largest predatory fish on the planet, as well as the third largest fish of all time, after the whale shark and the elephant shark. The term Carcharodon comes from ancient Greek karcharódōn (composed of kárcharos, meaning "sharp", and odóntos, meaning "tooth"). Karcharías, on the other hand, means "shark", from which the final meaning is: "shark with sharp teeth". The mouth of the great white shark is equipped with several rows of teeth: triangular and serrated on the upper jaw to shred prey, long and pointed on the lower jaw to stab and hold the prey. Exceptional tooth from the lower central arch. Dimensions: 52.1 mm x 33 mm. Serration perfectly defined, enamel with ultra-high gloss, tooth completely free of imperfections. Very beautiful!
