Gorgon Tarozzi - Venezia - 1970s

Splendid and evocative poster signed by the well-known illustrator Gorgon Tanozzi, titled "Venezia 1926 – Festa Notturna in Laguna". The work was created (this is a 1970s reissue) to celebrate the magic of the famous Festa del Redentore of Venice, a unique event in which the Canale della Giudecca lights up with reflections, festive boats, and extraordinary fireworks. The scene, with a strong Art Deco character, captures the silhouette of the lagoon wrapped in night, dominated by the spectacular fountains of light from the fireworks. Iconic details related to decorative lanterns, the festoons of the typical Venetian boats, and the unmistakable typographic lettering of the era that frames the inscription "Venezia 1926". Visible in the bottom right is the artist's signature "TANOZZI". Good overall condition with light and natural signs of time on the edges (as in detailed photos). It presents two small tears on the lower right edge that do not affect the main graphic.
