Rare native gold var. Romanian electrum. From the famous Rosia Montana deposits. These are fine and small crystals that form an aggregate like a sponge. A typical cluster of these veins. These veins that offered samples of this type of gold were the richest. Wide from a few centimeters to a few tens of centimeters. The matrix is the classic Dacite of these zones. Mines closed in 2006. Piece from an old collection. The sample has been washed only with water and soap, in order to preserve its original aesthetic at the moment of extraction. This is how the Romans found it 2000 years ago. I
