Glass Christmas tree topper made of glass. Handmade. In colors silver and red. The topper is flanked by 2 red birds, each with a glass tail. Partially restored. A particularly beautiful piece. The Christmas tree topper is about 30 cm high and the birds bring the width to 17 cm. Very nicely, the transparent tip at the top of the Christmas tree topper is visible. This is the starting point of the hand-blown process for this Christmas ornament. Made by Glashütte Lauscha in Germany. Lauscha has long been the center for Christmas ornaments. Since the end of the 19th century many companies have produced Christmas ornaments here. In the beginning it was a winter activity because one could not work in the fields.
