Giuseppe Tagliariol - Statuette, set van 3 uilenbeeldjes - 14 cm - Porcelain

A collection of three Italian porcelain owl sculptures, executed in the distinctive realistic style of fine biscuit porcelain. The figures excel in their dynamic expression, faithful anatomy, and beautifully hand-painted details in matte earth tones. Two of the three figures were designed by the Italian master artist Giuseppe Tagliariol (known as "Tay"), whose work is sought after by collectors for its liveliness. This concerns the tawny owl on a tree trunk and the charming little owl perched on a stack of antique books. Both bear his embedded signature. The lot is complemented by a very large snowy owl from an Italian art dealership, whose size and expressive gaze immediately draw attention. Specifications per object 1.
