Gios - Aerodynamic - Track bicycle - 1980s

The Gios Aerodynamic is a historic racing bicycle produced by Gios Torino in 1981 in a very limited edition of only 200 units. Main features: tubes - it uses first-series Columbus "Air" aerodynamic tubes. Technical details: It features shifters positioned above the down tube and an aerodynamically designed fork crown. Aesthetics: It is characterized by the iconic metallic gray bands with the inscription "GIOS Torino". Weight and components: The era’s version was equipped with Campagnolo Record components and weighed about 9.4 kg. Historical value: It represents one of the first concrete experiments in aerodynamic research in Italian road cycling and is considered an extremely rare collectible.
