Giorgio Galeotti (1928-2012) - Lacrimatory

Italian-Canadian painter Giorgio Galeotti (Reggio Emilia, 19 December 1928 – Montreal, 23 March 2012). Civil engineer by training, he lived for about 45 years in Montreal (Canada), devoting himself to contemporary painting with a Futurist-inspired style, producing hundreds of works mainly in acrylic on canvas, as well as oils, watercolors, and multicolored stained glass. He exhibited at the Sandra Goldie Gallery in Westmount (Montreal), and his works are today held in private collections in Canada, the United States, England, Spain, France, Belgium, and Italy. "Lacrimatory" is a 1999 acrylic on canvas, 45 cm by 61 cm; the sides of the canvas are painted. The painting is part of a lot of about 10 works. The painting is shipped on a wooden frame, unframed.
