Gino Fiorentini (XX) - Marina - cm 60x120

I am selling a splendid large signed oil painting dating from the last century (likely the 1950s/1960s) depicting a seascape at dusk. Valued at €800 by an art expert from a well-known online marketplace for artworks, I’m selling for €490 (to avoid brokerage fees). Preferably hand pickup in the city of Verona. Below is the technical/reading sheet and the art expert’s valuation. READING SHEET Author: Prof. Gino Fiorentini (Italian painter active in the 20th century) Title/Subject: Marina (Coastal scene with fishermen and sailing boats at sunset/dawn) Technique: oil on canvas Dimensions: 60 x 120 cm Authenticity: Guaranteed by an original period certificate issued by Studio Artistico Tartaglia - Arte (Via XX Settembre 98-c/98-d, Rome), complete with dry stamps and the gallery owner’s signature "In Fede". Description: the painting presents itself as a typical marina in a late-19th/early-20th-century taste, characterized by a pronounced luminous sensibility of an impressionist character. Subject: The scene depicts a moment of seaside life on the shore, with fishermen occupied in sorting nets or bringing the boats ashore. In the background several sailing boats stand out with their typical third-rig sails spread, bathed in a warm atmospheric light at dawn or dusk. The brushwork shows a good command of oil technique, with fluid strokes in rendering the sky and water and more tactile and vibrant touches in the foreground to define the wet sand, the reflections, and the fishermen’s figures. Valuation: €800
