Iconic - Reprint - Fine art print after Gino Boccasile – “Irradio” (1939) The offering includes a high-quality reprint of one of the best-known advertising posters by the Italian graphic designer and illustrator Gino Boccasile. It is explicitly a later fine art print based on the historic original motif from 1939 and not an original poster from the time of its creation. Gino Boccasile ranks among the most important poster artists in Italy in the 20th century. His works combine Art Deco aesthetics, elegant compositions, and an exceptionally concise visual language. Especially his advertising posters from the 1930s are today regarded as style-setting examples of European graphic and advertising art. The motif “Irradio” from 1939 was created for the Italian radio manufacturer Irradio and is one of Boccasile’s best-known advertising graphics. The elegant portrayal of a female figure combined with the stylized radio wave embodies the optimism, modernity, and design quality of the late Art Deco era. To this day, this motif has an exceptionally high recognizability value and is considered an iconic example of historic advertising art. The present large-format reprint art print impresses with its intense color impact, decorative presence, and vintage aura. Boccasile motifs are highly sought after by collectors of historic poster art, design enthusiasts, and fans of Italian graphic art. Due to its extraordinary format, the work has a strong visual impact and is excellent as a stylistic statement piece for design-oriented living and business spaces.
