Georges Mathias - Table lamp (2) - Brass, Gold plated

Magnificent, imposing table lamps by the Belgian artist Georges Mathias. This is an artistic and luxurious design from the 1970s in Hollywood Regency style. The brass plate is hand-etched and finished with 23-karat gold. Both lamps are signed ‘Designo Maho’ (pseudonym of the designer), and numbered. They are specimens 111/250 and 112/250. Fully original and intact with normal signs of use. The shades are discolored on the rear side due to light exposure.
