A scarce Japanese promotional-only 7-inch from 1989, released on Warner Bros. (PRS-2066) to promote the Lethal Weapon 2 soundtrack. This is an especially interesting pairing for George Harrison collectors, as this particular coupling of tracks was never issued as a standard commercial single, making it unique to the Japanese promotional market. Side A features Randy Crawford's rendition of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," accompanied by Eric Clapton and David Sanborn, while Side B showcases George Harrison's "Cheer Down." Both recordings featured prominently on the original Lethal Weapon 2 soundtrack. "Cheer Down" itself represents a notable moment in Harrison's late-1980s creative output—co-written with Tom Petty and produced by George Harrison and Jeff Lynne, it sits squarely within his period of work alongside the Traveling Wilburys, demonstrating his enduring artistic vitality during that era. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original Japanese promo sleeve remains very presentable, showing only light signs of age consistent with careful handling.
