Arne Jacobsen created futuristic and minimalist cutlery in 1957, which today is more modern than ever. The cutlery became known for its "participation" in the film 'Space Journey in 2001' by Stanley Kubrick and is now produced by Georg Jensen. The cutlery was originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen The minimalist Arne Jacobsen cutlery is made of stainless steel with a matte finish that ensures both a modern look and a good grip. Knives, forks and spoons can handle the dishwasher without any problems. The cutlery is comfortable to hold and nicely balanced, and the matte stainless steel lends elegance to any table setting. This collection has been called "cutlery without frills" because it is the sophisticated design that makes it stand out rather than a pattern or additional adornment. Arne Jacobsen cutlery set contains six each of the dinner spoon, dinner fork, long grill dinner knife and tea spoon. Materials: Stainless steel. Original box is included. Remark: one of the small spoons is missing, hence the 23 pieces.
