Gaby Acevedo - Mar - Nadiria (XL)

"Nadiria" is a unique and original abstract work from my Sea Series, where I explore my relationship with the Mediterranean from an intimate and contemplative perspective. This piece arises from a personal search for calm: the desire to pause the gaze and connect with that sense of vastness that surrounds you when you stand before the water. More than a landscape, the work is a space of silence and introspection, an attempt to bring to the canvas that stillness in which the deep and the surface reunite. Details of the work: • "Mar - Nadiria" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the piece: 81 cm × 100 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 90 cm × 110 cm, including the margin necessary for its new mounting on a frame of 81 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm (approximately). • Finish and protection: The piece is protected with professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its preservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To guarantee safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high‑rigidity rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas retains the necessary margin for its new mounting on a frame. • The piece does not include a frame or decorative surround. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high‑rigidity rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to the Canary Islands (Spain): €48. • Additional information: Colors and tones may vary slightly depending on each screen’s settings. Ambient images are digital representations for illustration purposes and show a possible presentation of the work when mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different inquiry, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and is entirely handmade in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
