“Aqualumen” is a unique and original work of art, belonging to my Series "Sea". I build it from the light that unfolds over the water and transforms the perception of space. My intention is to suggest breadth, clarity, and a serene atmosphere where the gaze can expand unhurriedly. "Aqualumen" explores that moment when the sea becomes a soft presence, almost a breath, and offers a place of balance and silence. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a different research, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
