Gaby Acevedo - Flumen - Velora (XL)

“Flumen” is an abstract work from my Velora series, in which I explore the memory of landscapes and the sensations that linger from them with the passing of time. In this piece, forms and colors interweave to create a dynamic landscape, where contrasts and pictorial gestures suggest the ongoing movement of nature. Through an open and energetically charged composition, I seek to transform the perception of the landscape into a visual experience open to the personal interpretation of whoever views it. Details of the work: • "Flumen - Velora" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylics on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 120 cm × 40 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 130 cm × 50 cm, including the margin needed for its new mounting on a 120 cm × 40 cm × 2 cm stretcher (approximately). • Finish and protection: The piece is protected with professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its preservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by an authenticity certificate. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To guarantee safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas preserves the necessary margin for its new mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative border. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that the mounting be carried out by a professional. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, material, and collage form the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory.
