French Indo-China - Flag - Vintage Blue Pennant with...

Vintage dark-blue textile flag/pennant with a large white stylized “V” emblem within a circle. The exact origin and purpose of this flag have not been definitively established. I obtained the flag from a private collector, who stated that it would have come from the equipment of a soldier who served in Indochina during the Indochina War. This provenance information comes from the previous owner and cannot be independently verified. The flag is made of dark blue fabric and features original cords on the hoist side. The flag shows clear signs of age and wear, including creases, slight discoloration, and several small moth holes in the fabric. These damages are visible and consistent with the age and use of the object.
