Franz Welz - Vase - Glass - 16 cm high - Art Deco

For the true enthusiast or collector of Art Deco glass art: a delicate and authentic Bohemian Tango Vase made by the renowned Franz Welz glass factory (Klostergrab, Czech Republic) around 1930. This charming and rare 16 cm high vase is also known as a ‘posy vase’. It features the iconic and highly sought-after red-black 'spatter' (confetti) pattern. The black top is finely incised, forming a flower shape. The base reveals the refined artisanal texture of the hand-blown glass, with the pontil scar skillfully ground away.
