Paris, at Delalain fils, 1785. 1 volume in-4 (25.5 x 19.5 cm), half calf (binding 19th century), gilding on the spine, [4]-683 pages (complete volume). Upper cap worn, boards rubbed, upper hinge cracked in the upper part (8 cm). Good general condition with fresh interior. Volume II only illustrated with 28 engravings by Sellier (2 plates IV), vignette on the title page in the original edition. This monumental dictionary gathers the entire knowledge of the time on land management, crops, livestock, estate economy, and veterinary care. Great scholars such as Antoine Parmentier or Chaptal contributed to it. The original edition began to appear in 1781 with the publisher Serpente. The complete collection comprises 12 volumes.
