Tutte le aste / Arte Contemporanea / Francioni Mastromarino (1978) - Non è un gioco!
Our planet is not a soccer ball: the work tackles the theme of climate change, sending a clear message: "Earth is not a game ball." This contemporary sculpture, created by the artists Francioni Mastromarino, depicts a soccer ball with relief continents, transformed into a globe with small cracks. A symbolic interpretation that fuses two images: the Earth, with the hexagons and pentagons characteristic of a soccer ball, all patinated with a rust-like effect thanks to iron powder embedded in the ceramic plaster. The authors denounce the disdainful behavior towards climate accords, precisely now, during the World Cup hosted in part by the United States, highlighting the risk of treating climate change and the protection of our only planet with superficiality as in a game. Authentic autograph of the authors. The materials used reflect a concrete commitment to the environment. Eco-sustainable mortars, inspired by bioarchitecture, are mixed with rice husk (lolla di riso), a by-product of the rice milling that Francioni Mastromarino have long used in their works, and which, when mixed with the mortars, ensures the durability of the piece. This choice not only reduces environmental impact, but also integrates the message of the work: respect for the planet must start from the smallest details. A sculpture with a strong visual and ethical impact, perfect for those who want a work of art that makes us think about the future of our world. The sculpture is the result of the synergy of two artists, Francioni and Mastromarino, a pair of artists and lovers who have been working together for about 20 years in their Pietrasanta studio in Tuscany. The materials chosen minimize the pollutant percentage, as does the choice of cardboard scraps as packing filler for shipping. The sculpture is carefully packaged in a very robust box and shipped with express courier. All our collectors are very satisfied with the sturdiness of our packaging. With our sculptures we are present in private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, USA, Switzerland, Romania, United Kingdom, Poland, Finland, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, United Arab Emirates and Italy. For shipments outside the European Union, the sculpture will be accompanied by a certificate of free export for contemporary artworks, which will be stamped and validated by the Export Office of the Florentine Superintendence of Fine Arts, belonging to the Ministry of Culture.
