Direct sale from the author with free shipping! “Viandante” is a life-size sculpture representing a woman on the move, not toward a specific destination but along a personal journey of change, choice, and necessity. On her lips appears the phrase “We should all be feminists,” which introduces an explicit message related to gender equality. The figure includes symbolic elements to discover; the work is produced in a very limited series of just a few pieces and is made with low-impact materials such as geomatte and rice husk. It was created in the artists’ studio in Pietrasanta where Francioni and Mastromarino have been working together for years, and it is sold directly from the studio with certification and organized shipping with protective packaging and documentation for export when necessary. Bronze pupils and a stainless steel aluminum hook guarantee its durability; Viandante is a symbolic sculpture and an altar to the strength and complexity of being a woman today. The sculpture is the result of the synergy of two artists, Francioni and Mastromarino, a pair of artists in love who have been working together for about 20 years in their Pietrasanta studio in Tuscany. The chosen materials minimize the pollutant percentage, as does the use of cardboard shavings as packing filler for shipping. The sculpture is carefully boxed in a very sturdy carton and shipped via express courier.
