Very exclusive and complete historical collection set consisting of 6 large commemorative medals dedicated to General Charles de Gaulle. Designed and signed by the renowned French artist and medalist Albert de Jaeger (Grand Prix de Rome). It concerns a limited special edition marked as "Hors Commerce" (originally not intended for regular sale). The medals are made of bronze and richly gilded with pure gold (bronze spécial, dorée à l'or pur). Each of the 6 medals is provided with its own numbered certificate of authenticity. The set comes in the two original, luxurious red case boxes, which on the front are printed with the gold-colored Resistance emblem and the famous quote by De Gaulle from 1940.
