Fr. 749. 1918 $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note. Boston. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.

Fr. 749. 1918 $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note. Boston. PMG Choice Very Fine 35. Rather attractive for both its age and the grade assigned. This moderately circulated Series of 1918 $2 Federal Reserve Bank Note from the comparatively scarce district has everything a collector could conceivably want from an example of this iconic albeit short-lived design. From excellent eye appeal built upon a foundation of bold colors and rich detail to the iconic vignette of the USS New York (BB-34) seen on the back, bidders and collectors alike one would be remiss to overlook the attractive qualities of this example solely on account of evident technical circulation spoken to by the grade assigned. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Click here for certification details from PMG.
