Fr. 16c. 1862 $1 Legal Tender Note. PMG About Uncirculated 55. An unlikely survivor in every regard that likely spent an abbreviated term in commercial channels. This lightly circulated $1 Legal Tender Note issued during the 1860s is undoubtedly a visual stunner that offers a nice contrast against a pool of survivors where unsightly culls with overt issues are disproportionately represented. Instead, bidders are met here with exceptional eye appeal and richly original color that effortlessly overshadow a singular comment referencing a "Pinhole" that may be seen above the "NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY" imprint at left.
