ature of the object: Decorative specimen of fossil stromatolite (sometimes classified as a plant fossil/algae colony or pseudostromatolite). • Origin: Erfoud / El Begaa region, Sahara, Morocco. • Visual characteristics: Bulging structure with very pronounced concentric interlocks and superb natural geometric reliefs. Ochre/reddish-brown hue characteristic due to the presence of iron oxides in the sediment. • Condition: Rough piece, generally self-supporting or mounted on a custom-fit metal base.
