Fossil mosasaur jaw - Fossilised jaw - Mosasaurus - 334 mm - 90 mm

Beautiful right lower jaw with 13 teeth from a mosasaur. This extinct sea reptile was the terror of the sea in the Late Cretaceous (66 to 72 million years ago). This jaw fragment is completely original, though glued and stabilized with a preservative. A number of teeth have been reattached and at the fracture surface the roots have been lightly sealed. The complete jaw measures 33.4 cm by 9 cm. Personally taken along on my latest trip to the phosphate mines near Oued Zem in Morocco in April 2026. Shipped by registered mail and insured. With matching information card.
