*All of our fossils are shipped with a certificate, included with the piece completely free* Scientific Name: Coprolite (possible reptile: crocodile, turtle or fish) Location: Madagascar Stage: Mesozoic (undetermined age) Size: Approximately 5.9 cm Description of the fossil: Spectacular high-quality, well-defined fossil coprolite from Madagascar. It retains a very good color and the natural striations typical of fossilized feces, which provides exceptional detail and a strongly marked texture. Based on its morphology and internal structure, it could belong to a reptile such as a crocodile or turtle, or even to a large fish, all of which were common in the region's Mesozoic ecosystems. Well-preserved Madagascar coprolites are highly valued for their aesthetics, their rarity, and their excellent state of preservation. Restoration: Natural piece; no restorations. Ref: 4922
