Fontana Arte - Daniela Puppa - Wall sconce - mod

FontanaArte – Daniela Puppa – Ulisse Mod. 2759 – Italian Design Wall/Ceiling Lamp – 1980s An elegant and distinctive example of Italian lighting design: the Ulisse lamp, designed by Daniela Puppa for FontanaArte, attributed to the 1980s. This striking architectural lighting piece combines sculptural geometry, refined materials and an impressive interplay of light, transparency and reflection. DESIGN AND MATERIALS The lamp features a large oval glass diffuser, distinguished by alternating transparent and satin-finished parallel stripes. This sophisticated geometric treatment creates fascinating optical effects, beautifully enhancing the light emitted by the central bulb. The original silver-grey metal structure incorporates two elegantly curved supports that securely hold the glass diffuser. Its elongated architectural composition creates an attractive contrast between the transparency of the glass and the solid metallic elements. The result is a distinctive sculptural design that makes an elegant decorative statement, both illuminated and switched off. AUTHENTICITY The lamp retains its original manufacturer's identification label, clearly marked: FONTANA ARTE – Made in Italy – 220 V – Model 2759 The original oval glass diffuser, silver-grey metal framework and characteristic mounting structure are preserved.
