An absolute icon of Italian design, Arco is a floor lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962 for Flos. A masterpiece that combines sculptural elegance and functionality, still today a symbol of balance and modernity. The base in Carrara marble, massive and polished, supports a long satin-finished stainless steel telescopic stem, which allows the light to be projected in suspension without the need for ceiling mounting. The orientable hemispherical diffuser in polished steel enables directing the light beam with precision, making Arco ideal over a table, a sofa, or as a mood-lighting focal point. This lamp is part of the MoMA collection in New York, testimony to its historical and artistic value.
