A bit of history about the original: This model is a faithful replica of the legendary streamlined high-speed locomotive Baureihe 03.10, designed in the 1930s to pull luxury trains at up to 150 km/h. The specific model (works number 03 1081) was built by the famous Borsig factory in 1939. Because of the outbreak of World War II, production was abruptly halted at that time, resulting in only 60 completed units. After the war, the streamline casing was removed on the real locomotives, making this version in its original streamlined glory especially special. A unique opportunity to expand your collection with a quality locomotive that you rarely come across in this condition.
