Vintage artistic ceramic vase – Relief-style female face – Signed – 28 cm Description Detailed artistic glazed ceramic vase, characterized by an evocative decoration depicting a stylized female face in relief. The object features an elongated and elegant silhouette, with a bulging lower body, a long cylindrical neck and a slightly flared opening. Of notable interest is the glaze, in a deep olive green with brown hues, blue-violet reflections and characteristic glassy drips, particularly evident inside the mouth. The color variations give the surface depth and movement, making the vase particularly striking in the light. The figurative decoration, with expressive and deliberately essential language, recalls the modernist taste of 20th-century artistic ceramics. The female face emerges from the surface through a stylized modeling, creating an interesting contrast between the plasticity of the reliefs and the luster of the glaze. On the base there is a partially legible inscription, perhaps interpretable as “Lav. a mano”, accompanied by a possible date.
